MELISSA KOVICS
Professional Dancer, Teacher, and Healer
Melissa's passion for movement began at the early age of three, using it as a form of expression and a means to release emotions. She firmly believes that laughter, love, and spiritually-connected movements are essential for balancing the mind, body, and soul, regardless of one's experiences or traumas.
Research has shown that dance is equally effective as other forms of physical activity in improving the quality of life for people with Parkinson's, reducing anxiety, and alleviating depression symptoms. Dancing also enhances motivation, memory, and social cognition, offering the full-body health benefits of exercise without necessarily feeling like a workout.
Whether working with clients individually, remotely, or in groups, Melissa empowers them to live from their hearts, illuminated by their soul's light, and to become their own "Happy Koa."
